The DD2 also has the unique “direct drive” feature, the axle passes directly through the engine – no more chains and chain lube to think about! The 125 MAX DD2 combines a revolutionary chainless drive with a 2-speed gearbox operated from the steering wheel using shift paddles. It's perfect for people with kart racing experience and ambitious leisure karters. This engine takes you as close to Formula car racing as you can get. Launched in 2002, this engine paved the way for new chassis developments from all leading manufacturers.
