It’s faster, has 2 gears and F1 style paddle shifts and you get the late braking thrill of front brakes. The DD2 also has the unique “direct drive” feature, the axle passes directly through the engine – no more chains and chain lube to think about! DD2 is the premier class at the Rotax Pro Tour.
There is also a DD2 Masters category for drivers over the age of 32, this is the only national level class for the mature driver.
