Xeramic products have been developed with the use of the most advanced technological means and can be considered to be the forerunner of a new generation of additives and lubrication products with excellent tribological properties. On the engine oil additives market, Xeramic is not just the latest product, it leaves all other products in the field far behind. This is the result of the ceramic material that has been used in Xeramic. So far, most engine oil additives were based on PTFE. After years of research and extensive engine tests by independent test institutes, there is no doubt now that the ceramic material in Xeramic is far superior to PTFE as an engine oil additive.

In the past few years a great deal of experience was gained in the field of engine oil additives based on PTFE. Many manufacturers of engine oil additives call PTFE 'the smoothest material in the world'. This is no longer true. The ceramic industry has now developed materials that are two or three times as smooth as PTFE. Technological advances in the space industry have accelerated the research to develop new materials which will guarantee the best possible tribological effects, even under very extreme circumstances. New technologies and materials have been developed and tested, resulting in a unique ceramic material with spectacular tribological and thin-film lubrication properties.
