Accurately positioning a seat (which if 5mm out will be detectable in lap times) is time consuming and difficult.

For accurate and repeat seat fitting Tillett have developed the T-Board jig that clamps to the chassis. In addition to acting as a ‘work bench’ it allows accurate measurement to axle, underside of seat to underside of rail and angle of recline. These can be recorded and transferred to any other chassis or seat as the starting point.

The Ribtec was originally developed using the direct help of F1 drivers Jenson Button, Vitantonio Liuzzi and Anthony Davidson whilst they were competing in karts.  It has a slim design which is only 5mm thick so seat size is unaffected. With absorbent towelling lining and foam interior the Ribtec is one of the most comfortable rib protectors on the market.  Available in sizes C, XS, S, MS, ML, L, XL
